The inspiration behind Jessie J's debut single, 'Do It Like A Dude'; 'I wanted to write a song that was tongue-in-cheek and a parody of a stereotypical male. But also, I wanted the song to be empowering for girls, but not kind of an "I hate men" song - because I don't, and I don't say that in the song. It's about feeling hardcore.'

'I can do it like a brother, do it like a dude, Grab my crotch, wear my hat low like you' Anything they can do, we can do. Just because their men and your a woman doesn't mean you can't do it too. The song should inspire you to go out and try anything, because your juste as capable as them, empower yourself and believe you can.

Big White Room

This song is amazing, the inspiration behind it is just incredible, and how much thought has gone into it. The song is just so heart felt and at the same time so heart breaking. Jessie J has an outstanding talent for song writing and especially for the first song she wrote.

'When I Was 11 years old and in Great Ormond Street as a patient, I shared a room with a young boy who was extremely sick and having a heart transplant following day. That night, I woke up to find the boy out of his bed on the floor praying that God would let him live and he didn't want to die. I listened to him and cried. To my surprise the young boy passed away the following day. The memory of him praying stuck with me, I didn't quite understand it, and I asked my mother "Why did he die, he asked God to save him, why didn't God listen?" This young boy is the inspiration behind the first song I ever wrote - "Big White Room".'

But not only did Jessie J get the chance to perform with Will.i.am but she also got the opportunity to perform at the Diamond Jubilee with him.

Jessie J had an amazing opportunity to work with B..o.B an international star, who has worked with the likes of Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars, he is incredibly talented (just like Jessie J) on her second single Price Tag. The song is a great feel good song. It sends an important message; 'Its not about the money', to inspire people not to worry about money so much, and instead enjoy life, because if your too caught up in money, you miss out on all the other wonderful things in life.

This song is just out of this world, he vocals are amazing, and so are Daley's. Jessie J brings something so special to everything she does. She has such an incredible talent. Even with all the talent and Remember Me being a remarkable song, the video on youtube hasn't had a lot of view, over a million, but a fraction of the amount for Jessie J's other songs, although it is a feature of Jessie J, this song still deserves so much more recognition.
