Unfortunately you need to endure every setback as well as the successes in order to learn and help us move forwards in our lives. Good or bad we all have to learn for every experience we encounter in our life, we grow, learn and become the person we are meant to be.

Don't Wait For Opportunities

Don't sit around waiting for opportunities; instead make more opportunities than you find because opportunities don't always come knocking, they present them selves when you beat down the fount door. Find your own opportunities, and give all that you've got; because excuses will always be there for you, but opportunities won't. Go after it today… while you still can!

Be the bigger person and rise above them, the ones that bring bad energy, bring you down, or steal your smile, let them be, its not worth wasting your time and engery on someone who will only break you. Don't let anyone get you down, but don't get anyone else down. Be civil, smile, whether they trying to bring you down or not. A smile can change a lot, let your smile change the world, but never let the world change your smile!

Hate

'Hate is not good for you. It will damage your smile, your heart and your spirit' 

Hate is a strong word, and the only person it will hurt is yourself. Hate is too big of a burden to bear, because hate only injures the heater rather than injure the hated. Hate will only destroy you.

Make Time

Make time for yourself, because it is more important than you think. Time for yourself to relax, think and unwind. If you never make time for yourself, no one else will make time for you, and without time for yourself, you are no good to anyone else, stressed, tired, mentally and physically drained, unless you make time!

Make time for yourself, your just as important to anyone or anything.

The Brit Awards

The Brit Awards are the British Phonographic Industry's annual pop music awards, that begun in 1977. This year was the 33rd edition of the Brit Awards. 

Emeli Sande, Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake are amongst the performers at the 2013 Brit Awards. With Emeli Sande also picking up two awards, for British Solo Artist and MasterCard British Album of the Year. Ben Howard also received two awards for British Solo Male and British Breakthrough Act.

The Roller Coaster

'The rollercoaster has its ups and downs, loops and twists but enjoy the ride… We are all on it together'

Life is a roller coaster, there will always be up and down, your life can be turned upside down, but you will always end up where your supposed to be. You can't always expect it will be good at all times because as always nothing lasts forever, but that means the bad times won't last forever either, life is full of sudden, unexpected twists, turns, ups and downs, you just have to take it all in your stride. Your never alone in it all, someone has been through it before, and even if they haven't you can always talk to them. Life is what you make of it, so go and enjoy the ride with the ones you love and cherish the most.

Want And Need

'Want and need are two VERY different things. Respect yourself always! "Don't think second best be number one" Yessssie!'

Don't confuse the things you want with the things you need, because the difference between want and need is self control. Respect yourself in order to be respected by others… Respect is a two way street, to receive it, you have to give it. Be number, even if no one else thinks your number one, but as long as you feel you constantly try your best, and always shoot for what you are capable, it doesn't matter. You are number one!

The MTV Video Play Awards is an annual event that celebrates the highest video play counts on MTV channels across the globe. Jessie J won the award for two times platinum for 'Price Tag'. The VevoCertified Awards are awarded to music videos as a reward when the music video reaches the mark of 100 million vies on YouTube. Jessie J won the award for 'Price Tag' and 'Domino' for reaching 100 million views.

The Silver Clef Awards is an annual UK music awards lunch, that was founded in 1976, by musicians and managers from around the British music industry, who wanted to honour and award music artists, whilst raising money for Nordoff-Robbins. Jessie J was presented with the award for Best British Live Act by Sir Tom Jones at the 2012 Silver Clef Awards.

Jessie J was awarded the award for Best Newcomer at the 2011 Virgin Media Music Awards ceremony. Even in Jessie J's first big year in the spotlight she done extremely well! She has won so many awards, achieving so much… and is continuing to.

The Q Awards are UK music awards annually held by the music magazine Q in order to honour musical excellence. Jessie J won the award for Best Video at the 2011 Q Awards for her debut single video 'Do It Like A Dude'.

The MOBO Awards 

The MOBO Awards were launched in 1996, and was the first black awards show in Europe. The awards are still held annually in the United Kingdom. Jessie J won an incredible four awards at the 2011 MOBO awards (out of five amazing nominations). Jessie J won Best Newcomer, Best UK Act, then for the debut album Who You Are, she won Best Album, and won Best Song for her debut single 'Do It Like A Dude'.

Industry Friends - Tom Jones

Jessie J and Tom Jones are both coaches on The Voice, on the first series of the show they got to sing together, along with the other coaches Danny O'Donoghue and WiLL.I.AM and are all confirmed for the second series. However Jessie J and Tome Jones performed a duet of  'Mockingbird' together for R2's special 'Radio2day'. Tom Jones also presented Jessie J with an award at Sliver Clef Awards 2012.

Industry Friends - Reggie Yates

Jessie J and Reggie Yates both work together on The Voice, Jessie J is a coach on the show and Reggie Yates is a presenter on the show.
